On Thursday, 20 May 2021 (6 Jestha 2078), KIST College & SS, Kamalpokhari, Kathmandu organized an online "Career Guidance Symposium 2021" – Management & IT – for the students of Grade XI & XII Management & XII Science. As a part of an annual program of KIST, the program inspired and supported students to choose an appropriate career path in the field of Management and IT.
In the program, CA Manoj Gyawali talked about the educational opportunities in the field of management. IT professional Dr Bishesh Khanal highlighted the career prospects of IT for Management and Science students. He emphasized the scope of the Internet of Things (IoT) & Artificial Intelligence (AI) as well as entrepreneurship & innovation in the digital world. BIT program coordinator Mr Deepak Khadka briefly elaborated on the IT and Management programs (BBA, BIM, BIT & BBS) offered at KIST. Educationalist Mr Indra P Subedi motivated and guided students for better career planning. His presentation focused on – how to choose the right course, methods of future planning, career destination selection, and so on.
At the beginning of the program, principal Dr Nabarath Baniya warmly welcomed all the participants and presenters. KIST faculty member Mr Yadav Bhattarai took the responsibility of Master of Ceremony of the program.
