Eligibility
Applicants need at least GPA 2.4 or Equivalent Grades in SEE /Equivalent level exams for enrolment in Science & at least GPA 2.0 or Equivalent Grades in SEE / Equivalent level exams for enrolment in Management. Applicants must fulfill the NEB’s subject-specific grade requirements.
Application Forms
Application forms are available online at www.kist.edu.np and also at the KIST office. Applicants should submit these forms duly filled in with all supporting documents by the given deadline.
Entrance Test
Getting through this Test is mandatory for your admission. The Entrance Test appropriately assesses the examinee in areas related to the choice of course – Science or Management. We provide Sample Test Papers online to the student applicants in order to prepare themselves for this competitive entry exam.
Results
The results of the Entrance Test are strictly based on the order of merit. The names of the selected student applicants are posted on the College website: www.kist.edu.np and also pasted on the College Notice Board.
Interview
Student applicants who have cleared the Entrance Test are individually interviewed thereafter either in-person or online according to their convenience. The date and time of each interview is mentioned in the Entrance Test Results sheet. It should be kept in mind by the applicants that they need to be accompanied by their parents/guardians during their interview. Applicants must bring all the required documents or email scanned copies of the same.
Offer of Admission & Acceptance
Selected applicants are handed Offer Letters for admission with or without offers of Scholarships at the end of their interviews. They need to submit their acceptance within the stipulated period to get admitted.
Enrollment
Once the College receives a letter of acceptance from the applicant, it will confirm admission forthwith subject to the payment of fees. Successful applicants shall be enrolled as bonafide KIST students on the completion of this process!

KIST +2 Scholarships are awarded to exceptional students in order to recognize and promote academic excellence. There are many Scholarships for commendable students who satisfy expected norms.
Students interested in joining BBA, BIM, BIT and BBS at KIST would need to go through a fair but thorough admission process.
Eligibility
BBA/BIM:
Applicants need minimum D Grade in each Subject of Grade 11 and 12 with CGPA 1.8 or More
or
Minimum score or Second Division Marks in 10+2, PCL or Equivalent in any discipline.
BIT:
The Candidate must have passed +2 or Equivalent with a Mathematics subject of 100 marks with D+ grade from any recognized academic institution and minimum 45% marks or D+ grade in each subject with GPA 2.00 in aggregate.
BBS:
Applicants need minimum D+ grade in each subject of grade 11 & 12 or minimum second division in +2 or an equivalent exam.
BSc:
Applicants must have taken 200 marks full course of Biology. They need at least a second division in +2 or an equivalent exam. For students with results in grading system, they must have secured at least “C” grade in each subject. For A-Level students, they must have minimum “E” grade.
Entrance Exam Application Form
University Entrance Exam Application forms are available at all colleges including KIST which offer these programmes for BBA, BIM & BIT. For BBS, application forms are available at KIST. Applicants should submit these forms duly filled in with supporting documents and photographs by the given deadline.
Entrance Exam
Getting through the University Entrance Exam is mandatory for admission in BBA, BIM & BIT. For BBS, the College conducts an Entrance Test. Questions asked are from related subject areas. Sample Test Papers can be obtained from KIST along with Application forms.
KIST Admission Form
Successful students in the University Entrance Exam should fill in the KIST Admission Form. Students who have filled in the University Entrance Exam forms in any other college are also eligible to apply here.
Personal Interview
These students need to appear for the Personal Interview immediately thereafter. They ought to be accompanied by their parents or guardians for this interview.
Offer Letter
